A Clutch site carries what ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Grok need to find it, read it and use its forms.
ChatGPT on a phone is asked to find a two-bedroom at Larkspur Commons for November and book a tour. It uses the site's search_site and tour_schedule tools. The site's tour form, filled with B2 Terrace and November, answers Missing: Name, Email. ChatGPT says B2 Terrace is from $1,845 with three homes for November, and asks what name and email should go on the form.

Daily requests from AI crawlers and agents, year over year.

Cloudflare fronts about a fifth of web domains. It counts crawlers and agents together, so this is growth in requests, not a share of your visits.
ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Grok can find a Clutch site, read its facts and fill its forms, and they stop when a field is missing.
No. A Clutch site offers an assistant a tool only where the site has something to use. A page with no form, filtered list or search box offers no tool.
The form tools work in browsers that implement WebMCP, the browser standard that lets an assistant use a page's search and forms directly. Elsewhere the assistant reads the page the way a search crawler does, and the files and the facts are still there.
No. MCP is a different standard: it lets an assistant such as Claude connect to Clutch so that you and your own tools can read and change your site. Your visitors and their assistants never need it.
A test run: an assistant gets a real customer's question, searches, opens your site and tries the next step. The record shows what it could find, understand and act on. Paste your site's address to run one.
