  • Search engines and AI assistants are allowed to read your siteCriticalPass

Every AI search crawler and agent we grade is allowed. Training crawlers are allowed. A crawler is a robot that reads sites for a search engine or assistant, and one that is blocked cannot recommend you. Bing lists blocking Bingbot among the things to avoid, because content it cannot crawl may not be indexed or used in Copilot's answers.

Here are three Union apartment communities whose own websites I opened. Prices change often, so confirm them with the leasing office.

1. Avalon Union (AvalonBay), 2400 Vauxhall Rd area

  • Why: It is the only one here where the official site lists individual units, with a sort by lowest price. Many listings are one- and two-bedroom units, and it also has townhomes. The site says the community is under two miles from the Millburn NJ Transit station, with access to Newark Penn Station and New York City. (https://www.avaloncommunities.com/new-jersey/union-apartments/avalon-union/)
  • What the site says: Base rent starts at $2,780 for a one-bedroom on a 19-month lease, and $3,155 for a two-bedroom. Furnished options start higher. The site also says quoted rent excludes other charges such as utilities and parking, and that pricing varies by lease term.
  • Next step: Pick a unit on the listings page and click "View Details," or contact the community from the site.
  • Not stated on the site: Pet policy, application fees, and deposits.

2. The Crossings At Union, 1221 Magie Ave, Union, NJ 07083

  • Why: Its site describes renovated one- and two-bedroom units, and it is the best fit if you want an in-unit washer and dryer. It also says the whole community is pet-friendly. (https://www.crossingsunion.com/)
  • What the site says: Units include stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and hardwood floors. Water, sewer, and trash are included in rent. The site says it is minutes from Union Train Station and close to Newark Airport.
  • Next step: Call +1 908-264-1414, use the "Schedule a Tour" page, or open the floor plans page to check availability.
  • Not stated on the site: Actual rent figures. The floor plans page did not load for me, and the office-hours text on the site is inconsistent, so call ahead.

3. Summit Court Apartments, 1720 Patriot Way, Union Township, NJ 07083

  • Why: It is a pet-friendly community with in-unit washers and dryers, private balconies, a pool, a fitness center, and a clubhouse. The site lists 1- and 2-bedroom apartments. (https://www.liveatsummitcourt.com/)
  • What the site says: The site describes open layouts and easy access to public transit and major highways. It also lists office hours and contact numbers.
  • Next step: Use the "Apply Now" link for the online application, or call +1 908-363-1000 or +1 844-435-8236 (the site lists both). You can also use the floor plans page.
  • Not stated on the site: Rent amounts. The homepage did not show prices, so check the floor plans page or call.

Other options: Centurion Union Center (975 Bonnel Ct) and AVE Union (1070 Morris Ave) were in the results but I did not open their own websites. Reviews of Centurion on Apartments.com included complaints about management and noise, so ask about those issues if you tour it.

Directory sites such as Zillow, Redfin, and HotPads list many more Union rentals, with one-bedroom asking rents often around $1,800 to $2,500, but those figures come from listing sites rather than the communities themselves.
